GREENSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's wrestling team won six matches in its 29-17 victory over PSAC opponent Seton Hill on Monday evening.
Notables
Evan Thompson won his match by way of a first-period pin just 2:12 into the match.
Austin Noe also made quick work of his opponent, pinning the Seton Hill wrestler in 15 seconds, by far the fastest match of the night.
Augustus Warke continued the trend of first-period pins for ESU, winning his match just 10 seconds before the period would end.
Layton Schmick also defeated his opponent in the first period, but by way of a 16-0 technical fall just 1:27 into the match.
Gavin Reynolds had a razor-close 2-1 decision, which was decided by riding time.
Warke,
Matthew Richardson, and Schmick came up big for the Warriors when the Griffins held a 17-15 lead. All three won consecutively to retake the lead and claim the dual-meet victory.

ESU will wrap up its regular season at home against PSAC rival Kutztown for a 7 p.m. dual meet in Koehler Fieldhouse on February 19.
