INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division II Baseball Committee announced that East Stroudsburg University has been selected as one of 56 teams competing in the 2025 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship. The Warriors earned the No. 3 seed, with regionals scheduled for May 15–18, super regionals from May 22–24, and the championship finals set for May 30–June 7 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.
ESU will return to Serpico Stadium in West Chester for an Atlantic Regional pod hosted by West Chester University. Joining the Warriors is No. 6 seed Fairmont State, who ESU will face on Thursday, May 15, at 11 a.m. Tickets will be sold on-site, cash only. This marks ESU's eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and the seventh under head coach
John Kochmansky. The Warriors enter the Atlantic Regional with a 35–14 record and were ranked No. 22 in last week's D2 Baseball Rankings.
Fairmont State earned its spot in the Atlantic Regional with a 27–26 overall record, including a 17–11 mark in the Mountain East Conference. The Falcons reached the MEC championship game before falling to Point Park.
