EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The NCAA Track and Field Committee announced Tuesday that eight East Stroudsburg University student-athletes have qualified for the NCAA Division II Track and Field Championships, hosted by CSU Pueblo from May 22–24.
Representing ESU will be
Porschia Bennett (high jump),
Shannon Harnett (high jump),
Chris Fredericks (javelin),
Bryson Gilchrist (long jump),
Cole Gorham (shot put, discus),
Luke Stevenosky (javelin),
Peter Stanislavsky (high jump) and
Anthony Voto (hammer), ESU will have the most athletes competing of any PSAC school.
For the women's track and field team, Bennett and Harnett are the first ESU high jump duo to qualify for the NCAA Championships since Lynn Mayer and Janelle Smith in 2010.
For the men's track and field team, with Fredericks, Gilchrist, Gorham (two events), Stevenosky, Stanislavsky and Voto competing this weekend, ESU ties the program record for most performances at the NCAA Championships with seven. The Warriors also recorded seven entries in both 2010 and 2009.

Thursday, May 22
5:30 p.m. –
Anthony Voto, the No. 12 seed, will compete in his second straight NCAA Championships, this time in the hammer throw after participating in the weight throw at the 2025 indoor championships. His top mark of the season, 61.21 meters (200 feet, 10 inches), earned him first place at the PSAC Championships and co-meet MVP honors.
7:30 p.m. –
Bryson Gilchrist, seeded sixth, will close out the first day for the Warriors in the long jump. His top leap of the season, 7.52 meters (24 feet, 8.25 inches), came at the All-American Meet. He enters the weekend as the second highest seeded Warrior at the NCAA Championships.
Friday, May 23
6:45 p.m. –
Shannon Harnett, seeded seventh, and
Porschia Bennett, seeded 13th, begin competition in the high jump. Harnett's top mark is 1.74 meters (5 feet, 8.5 inches), set in her PSAC Championship victory. Bennett's best jump, 1.73 meters (5 feet, 8 inches), earned her third place at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
7 p.m. –
Cole Gorham, the No. 10 seed, will compete in the discus throw. His top mark of 55.65 meters (182 feet, 7 inches) was set at the Bison Outdoor Classic. This marks his fourth NCAA Championship appearance, having competed twice indoors in the shot put (2024, 2025) and once outdoors in discus.
Saturday, May 24
4:45 p.m. –
Luke Stevenosky (No. 10 seed) and
Chris Fredericks (No. 22 seed) will open Saturday's events in the javelin. Stevenosky posted a season-best 68.12 meters (223 feet, 6 inches) to win the PSAC title last week. Fredericks hit his top mark of 64.90 meters (212 feet, 11 inches) at the Penn Relays.
6:45 p.m. –
Peter Stanislavsky, the No. 16 seed, set his best high jump at the PSAC Championships with a mark of 2.11 meters (6 feet, 11 inches), earning gold and solidifying his NCAA spot.
7:05 p.m. –
Cole Gorham will return for his second event of the weekend as the No. 3 seed in the shot put. He was the runner-up at the indoor championships and enters with a season-best throw of 18.63 meters (61 feet, 1.5 inches), which earned him the PSAC title.
