2025 Season Highlights: In one of the most dominant campaigns in East Stroudsburg University history,
Cole Gorham crushed expectations as a national-caliber thrower, stacking up podium finishes and delivering clutch performances both indoors and outdoors. He reached his season’s pinnacle at the
NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, where he fired off a
shot put throw of 18.76m (61' 6.75") to secure
2nd place nationally. He followed up with a powerful
3rd-place finish at the
Outdoor Championships, marking
18.34m.
Cole’s consistency was unmatched — earning first place in shot put at seven meets, including the PSAC Indoor & Outdoor Championships, Bucknell Tune-Up, Delaware Invitational, and the Monmouth Season Opener. His winning mark at PSAC Outdoors was a beastly 18.63m (61' 1.5"), not only his season best, but also one of the top throws in Division II.
Gorham wasn’t just a one-event powerhouse — he added discus dominance to his résumé by winning the Bison Outdoor Classic (55.65m) and the Delaware Invitational, and snagging 2nd at PSACs. He also earned a 12th-place finish at NCAA Outdoors, consistently posting marks in the high 170s to low 180s range, keeping him in the elite tier every time he entered the ring.
