EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced that three East Stroudsburg University baseball players have been named to the All-Region teams following standout performances throughout the season. Outfielder Dennis Pierce and relief pitcher Caden Parker earned First Team All-Region honors, while third baseman Jack Rothenhausler was named to the Second Team.

Pierce, a senior from Quakertown, Pa., led the Warriors with a .369 batting average, a 1.253 OPS and a .772 slugging percentage. He appeared in 49 games, starting 46, and led the team with 16 home runs—breaking the program's single-season home run record previously shared by Mark Angela and Kevin Thompson, who each hit 12 in 2009. Pierce also tallied 55 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, 56 RBIs and 47 runs scored.

Parker earned First Team honors for the second consecutive year, becoming the first relief pitcher in program history to earn back-to-back All-Region recognition. In 17 appearances, he pitched 19.1 innings with a 0.93 ERA, a 1.19 WHIP and a .185 opponent batting average. The junior recorded nine saves and struck out 18 batters.

Rothenhausler, a native of Bethlehem, Pa., earned Second Team honors after a record-breaking season. The senior third baseman hit .314 with a 1.072 OPS and a .627 slugging percentage. He started all 50 games, collecting 48 hits, 18 doubles, 10 home runs, 62 RBIs and 34 runs scored. Over the course of the season, Rothenhausler became East Stroudsburg's all-time leader in games played (206), doubles (65), extra-base hits (93), home runs (25) and RBIs (188).

The trio looks to continue their strong play as the Warriors pursue another NCAA tournament run. East Stroudsburg defeated Fairmont State 11-2 on Thursday at West Chester.
