14 Warriors Earn USTFCCCA All-Atlantic Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced that 14 East Stroudsburg University track and field athletes recorded 18 qualifying marks to earn All-Atlantic Region honors.

The athletes who qualified were Porschia Bennett, Drew Domurat, Chris Fredericks, Bryson Gilchrist, Jack Gorham, Cole Gorham, Shannon Harnett, Taylor LaBarre, Samiyah Little, Daniel Smith, Peter Stanislavsky, Luke Stevenosky, Riley Trentowski, and Anthony Voto all had qualifying marks!

High Jump: Shannon Harnett (1.74m), Porschia Bennett (1.73m), Peter Stanislavsky (2.11m), Drew Domurat (2.05m)

Triple Jump: Shannon Harnett (12.13m)

Javelin: Luke Stevenosky (68.12m), Chris Fredericks (64.90m)

Long Jump: Bryson Gilchrist (7.52m), Jack Gorham (7.40m), Daniel Smith (7.37m) 

Shot Put: Cole Gorham (18.63m), Anthony Voto (17.23m)

Discus: Cole Gorham (55.65m)

Hammer: Samiyah Little (53.81m), Anthony Voto (61.21m) 

Pole Vault: Taylor LaBarre (5.01m) 

800m/1500mRiley Trentowski (2:11.28/4:38.53)

According to the USTFCCCA, the top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, along with members of the top three ranked relay teams. Only programs that are members of the USTFCCCA are eligible for the awards.
Recently, the ESU men's track and field team captured its first-ever Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship, while the women's team secured a top-four finish.

Porschia Bennett (high jump), Shannon Harnett (high jump), Chris Fredericks (javelin), Bryson Gilchrist (long jump), Cole Gorham (shot put, discus), Luke Stevenosky (javelin), Peter Stanislavsky (high jump) and Anthony Voto (hammer), will all be competing at the NCAA Track and Field Championships next week from May 22-24.
