Six Warriors Earn All-PSAC Honors For Second Straight Season

5/6/2025 3:05:00 PM

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced Tuesday that six East Stroudsburg University baseball players earned All-PSAC honors.

Jack Rothenhausler, Dennis Pierce, Ethan Woods and Caden Parker were named to the All-PSAC East First Team, while Walker Zampella and Shanley Wall earned Second Team recognition. This marks the second consecutive season ESU has had six All-PSAC selections, and the fourth straight year with at least five.

Rothenhausler earned First Team honors for the second consecutive season following a standout senior campaign. He set multiple school records, including career marks in home runs, doubles, extra-base hits, total bases, times reached base, RBIs and hit by pitch, with several others within reach. In conference rankings, he leads in doubles (18) and RBIs (61), is fifth in slugging percentage (.646), eighth in home runs (10), and is batting .320 with a .450 on-base percentage.

Pierce, who transferred from Valdosta State where he was a Gulf South Conference First Team and All-America selection, made an immediate impact in his first season at ESU. He set the program's single-season home run record with 15, which ranks second in the PSAC, and is slugging .733 — 25th nationally in Division II and second in the conference. He also ranks second in RBIs (54), fourth in on-base percentage (.483), fourth in total bases (109), and eighth in batting average (.369).

Woods, a transfer from nearby Northampton Community College, has excelled in his first season with the Warriors, earning PSAC East First Team honors. He posted a 2.06 ERA and struck out 32 batters over 43.2 innings.

Parker earned his second consecutive PSAC East First Team selection as one of the top relief pitchers in the Atlantic Region. He ranks second in the PSAC with nine saves and holds a 0.95 ERA, striking out 18 in 19 innings.

Zampella collected his first All-PSAC honor, earning second team recognition. One of the conference's top base stealers, Zampella swiped 31 bags — second most in the PSAC — while posting a .400 on-base percentage and a .412 slugging percentage.

Wall continues to be one of the top outfielders in the conference, earning All-PSAC honors for the second consecutive season. Wall leads the PSAC in walks (38) and sacrifice flies (7), and ranks 10th in stolen bases with 18, joining Zampella among the league's top base stealers.
