EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The East Stroudsburg University men's soccer team (1-1-0) dominated on Sunday against Gannon (0-1-1) with a decisive 4-0 victory at Eiler-Martin Stadium. The Warriors shut out the Golden Knights to earn their first win of the season.

Owen Rennie led the Warriors offensively with a pair of goals, one unassisted and one off an assist from
Benny Goodrich.
Nathan Bradway and
Jace Seara each netted a goal in the game.
Goodrich led the team with two assists on the day, setting up key scoring opportunities for the Warriors.
Goalkeeper,
Kevin Kretschman, had a shutout performance, with 5 saves on the day to keep Gannon scoreless.
The Warriors' success during the match was attributed to a 61% possession rate, converting ten total shots into four goals, and allowing only five shots on goal from the Golden Knights.
How it Happened
ESU took an early lead with two goals in the first half and never looked back. At 21:43, Bradway found the back of the net, capitalizing on an assist from Goodrich.
Just minutes later, at 25:20, Seara extended the lead to 2-0 with a goal following an assist from Rennie.
The Warriors wasted no time in the second half, scoring their third goal at 47:13, with Rennie's first goal of the game.
Rennie struck again at 71:12 when he found the back of the net off an assist from Goodrich, cementing the Warriors' 4-0 advantage.
Kretschman and the ESU defense were able to shut down the Golden Knights attacking attempts and secured the clean sheet.
