1/26/2026 2:11:00 PM

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) announced its preseason poll results for the Atlantic Region Top 10, with ESU Baseball holding the top spot going into the season.

The 2025 Atlantic Region champion Warriors were selected as the preseason favorites going into 2026, receiving eight of nine first-place votes and receiving 88 total points. Seton Hill was picked as the runner-up, while Millersville received the other first-place vote and came in third place.

ESU won its first-ever Atlantic Region Championship last year, going 41-15, and is primed for another postseason push. The Warriors bring back 64% of their offensive production and 89% of their pitching with seven starting position players and nine key pitchers returning. Offensively, Shanley Wall, Chaise Albus, and Parker Frey look to lead the charge with their bats, and Ryan Dewees, Ethan Woods, and Jake Albert will take the mound. Behind the plate, ESU returns Connor Reilly, who had a .982 fielding percentage, and brings in Mansfield transfer Cole Serfass, a two-time All-PSAC East Second Team member. In addition to Serfass, ESU brings in two Division I transfers in infielder Zander Condeelis and LHP Cade Davis, adding York-transfer Evan Hughes as well after two strong seasons in Division III.

East Stroudsburg begins the season in Hampton, Va., taking on Felician at noon on Friday, Feb. 13.
