MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — ESU's trio of All-Region selections by the NCBWA earned the honor again this week, as Walker Zampella and Ryan Dewees were named to the All-Atlantic Region First Team by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), and Cole Dymek was named to the Second Team.

Zampella and Dewees were First Team All-PSAC East as well, with Zampella playing second base and Dewees being the team's top starting pitcher. Zampella batted .347 with a .506 SLG%, scoring a team-high 45 runs and tallying 89 total bases. Dewees went 7-2 with a 3.15 ERA in 13 starts and 15 appearances, tossing one complete game while striking out 84 batters; the most in the PSAC.

Both seniors wrapped up their careers near the top of the record books in a handful of categories. With 64 career stolen bases, Zampella ranked fourth in program history. Dewees appears frequently in the top of the pitching record book, finishing in the top six in winning percentage, wins, games started, innings pitched, and strikeout:walk ratio.

Dymek was Second Team All-PSAC and First Team All-Region by NCBWA, breaking out this season as one of the best relief pitchers the Atlantic Region has to offer. Building up a 1.19 ERA, he had the lowest ERA on the team among pitchers with over 15.0 IP. Dymek's best performances came later in the season, throwing 5.0 IP and shutting out Gannon in the PSAC Quarterfinals, and coming in for 3.1 scoreless IP versus Bloomsburg in the NCAA Atlantic Regional.
