KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The United Soccer Coaches announced its recipients of the 2025-26 College Team Academic Award, naming the ESU men's soccer team as one of the honorees.
 
Recognizing the top programs in both men's and women's soccer for their academic performances in 2025-26, 777 teams earned the award for posting a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Warriors, who had a 3.21 team GPA last year, were one of the five Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams to represent the conference on the list. Joining ESU are Bloomsburg, West Chester, Lock Haven, and Slippery Rock.
 
With the final award announcement of the 2025-26 season completed, ESU looks ahead to the 2026-27 season, with preseason beginning shortly. The PSAC will announce its preseason poll results next week, as the Warriors will open their season on the road at Mercy on Aug. 27.
