The junior catcher started 42 games and hit .248, totaling 27 hits, 16 RBIs, and 38 walks while demonstrating a strong on-base presence.
Reilly’s breakout offensive display came on May 15 vs. Fairmont State, when he erupted for five hits, including two doubles, and three RBIs. He added a clutch home run in postseason play against Northwood on June 1 and scored a season-high four runs against Mansfield (Apr. 4), where he also swiped two bases—a testament to his athleticism behind the dish.
Defensively, Reilly was a stalwart at catcher, finishing with a .982 fielding percentage over 280 chances. He tallied 252 putouts, 23 assists, and caught 10 runners stealing while allowing just four passed balls over the course of the year. His standout game came May 18 vs. Fairmont State, when he registered a season-best 10 putouts in a playoff win.
Sophomore (2024) (Season Stats): Played in 28 games, making 15 starts primarily behind the plate ... hit .191 (9-for-47) with .387 on-base and .362 slugging percentage ... recorded two doubles, two home runs, 15 walks, seven RBI and 17 runs scored ... helped ESU set the single-season wins record, capture the PSAC East regular season title, finish as the PSAC Tournament runner-up and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season.
Freshman (2023) (Season Stats): Played in 23 games, making 9 starts ... hit .273 (9-for-33) with a .359 on-base percentage and .303 slugging percentage ... 1 double, 5 walks, 5 RBI, 8 runs ... 4-for-4 on stolen bases ... threw out five baserunners ... 1-for-1, 3 walks, 3 RBI, 2 runs vs. Saint Rose (2/19) ... helped ESU advance to the PSAC and NCAA Tournaments for the second consecutive season.
