ALL-PSAC EAST SECOND TEAM (2023)
2024 Season Highlights: Tyriq Lewis once again proved to be a game-changing force in the Warriors’ backfield, racking up 899 rushing yards on 146 carries and finding the end zone nine times. He averaged an explosive 6.2 yards per carry and topped 70 yards in eight games, including a season-long run of 48 yards. Lewis also contributed in the passing game with 10 receptions for 147 yards, highlighted by a 41-yard catch—the longest of his career. His consistent production and leadership helped anchor the Warriors’ offense throughout the season. For his standout performance, Lewis earned recognition as a member of the PSAC Football Eastern Division All-Conference Offensive First Team.
Senior (2023): Named to All-PSAC East Second Team in breakout season ... Led ESU in scoring with 11 toucdowns, averaging 5.7 points per game … scored nine rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns … eclipsed 100 yards in three games and had eight games with at least 50 yards rushing and a score, including season-high 129 outburst against Seton Hill ... career-high two rushing touchdowns against Pace (8/31)… accumulated 150 rushing attempts for 824 yards… major factor in ESU ranking 46th in NCAA DII and third in the PSAC in rushing offense ... contributed with 17 catches for 79 yards… longest rushing attempt of 58 yards against Seton Hill (9/18).
Junior (2022): Appeared in 10 of 11 contests, making three starts against Millersville, West Chester and California (Pa.) ... ranked second on the team in rushing, with 316 yards on 72 carries (4.4 ypc) ... totaled three rushing touchdowns, averaging 31.6 ypg ... long run of 28 yards ... ranked third in all-purpose and fourth on the squad in total offense ... caught six passes for 45 yards ... season-best 109 yards rushing against Lock Haven on just 10 carries ... posted 65 yards on 16 carries against the Vulcans ...found the end zone against Lock Haven, West Chester and California (Pa.) ... recorded six tackles on special teams.
Sophomore (2021): Appeared in all 11 games … totaled 73 carries for 369 rushing yards which ranked second at ESU … Posted season-high 114 rushing yards against Bloomsburg including his first collegiate touchdown … recorded 5 receptions for 19 yards with a long of 7 yards.
Freshman (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19
