2024 Season Highlights: Ignasi Cucurella Tuset delivered a high-impact season for the Warriors, earning All-PSAC East First Team honors and a spot on the D2CCA All-Region Second Team. Starting all 16 matches, he tallied 5 goals and 2 assists for 12 points while launching 37 total shots and converting at an efficient .622 shot-on-goal rate.
Cucurella Tuset’s breakout game came at Adelphi (Sept. 14), where he netted 2 goals in a dominant 5-1 victory. He continued to shine with goals against Shepherd, Shippensburg, and West Chester, and added a pinpoint assist in the 3-1 win over Shippensburg (Oct. 5). He capped his season with a season-high 90 minutes against West Chester (Nov. 8) and recorded a season-best 4 shots and 3 on goal at Shippensburg (Nov. 2). His blend of creativity, composure, and attacking flair made him one of the region’s premier offensive threats. Cucurella Tuset earned selection to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Junior (2023): Named to D2CCA Atlantic Region Second Team … All-PSAC East First Team … College Sport Communicators Academic All-America Third Team and CSC All-District Team … appeared in 15 games … made 14 starts … scored goals against Felician (8/31), Molloy (2) (9/3), Bloomfield (9/9), District of Columbia (10/4), Shepherd (10/14), and Lock Haven (10/19) … distributed six assists … contributed 14 points … finished the season with 1,063 minutes played.
Sophomore (2022): Appeared in 20 contests, making five starts ... scored two goals and provided one assist ... converted first collegiate penalty kick goal against West Chester (10/26) ... logged 760 minutes of action.
Freshman (2021): Appeared in 12 contests … started in one … scored first collegiate goal in win over nationally-ranked Bloomsburg (9/22).
Background: Health and physical education major ... member of the HPE Club, Peer Tutoring and is a CILLS mentor ... aspires to win a PSAC Championship.
