EAST STROUDSBURG – Senior Negus Graham, juniors Ian Melhorn and Josh Hontz and freshman Laura Beimfohr all stood out to lead East Stroudsburg University's 13 individual winners at the Sixth Annual All-American Meet on Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Graham set the stadium record in the 400m with a time of 48.04, just off last week's NCAA provisional time of 48.00, to easily win the event and break Chris Reddick's stadium record of 48.45 set last season.

Melhorn was the only double-winner, sweeping the men's 100m and 200m dashes, as the Warriors produced seven winners on the men's side and six on the women's side, along with sweeping both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

Hontz bettered his NCAA provisional mark in the javelin with a throw of 212-11, besting his previous mark of 210-5 two weeks ago at Millersville. He also hit a throw of 209-10 at Bucknell last week.

Beimfohr produced her second school record in the pole vault this season, clearing 11-3 3/4 in the event which was held indoors due to rainy and potentially dangerous conditions outdoors on Saturday morning. She opened the outdoor season with a mark of 10-9 at Monmouth and also holds the indoor record at 11-6 1/2.

The Warriors' men's relays were both four-hundredths of a second off stadium records as well – senior Asher Ashfield, freshman Keith Parker-Washington, Graham and Melhorn won the 4x100 in 41.38, and Parker-Washington, freshman Christopher Walker, Graham and senior Greg Pammer won the 4x400 in 3:17.84.

Melhorn won the 100 in 11.02, just edging Ashfield's 11.03, and took the 200 in 21.67. Pammer was second to Graham in the 400 (49.74) and Parker-Washington was fourth in the 200 (22.58).

Other winners for the Warriors' men were freshman Chris Schneider (3000 – 8:56.24), freshman Cory Kresge (long jump – 22-10), junior Brandon Hillman (triple jump – 46-7 1/4) and freshman James Homola (pole vault – 15-0).

Joining Beimfohr as winners for the women were senior Jasmine Johnson (400 – 58.23), sophomore Corinne Fitzgerald (1500 – 4:48.99), sophomore Aniyah Williams (100 hurdles – 15.65), freshman Kim Lowry (3000 steeplechase – 11:34.40) and senior Lynn Mayer (high jump – 5-2 1/4). Mayer, a five-time All-American, won the high jump for the 22nd time in her last 25 meets.

Johnson and freshman Nicole Brown ran on the winning relays for the women, which both set season bests. Sophomore Lauren Ventrella, Brown, freshman Rachel Pierantozzi and Johnson won the 4x100 in 49.11 and freshman Colleen Murphy, Brown, freshman Christy Cardillo and Johnson claimed the 4x400 in 4:00.88.

ESU had top finishers in nearly every event. On the track, Pierantozzi was second in the 100m dash by one-hundredth of a second in 12.97, Murphy was third behind Johnson in the 400 in 59.90, sophomore Bridget McCarron was second (2:22.68) and Fitzgerald was fourth (2:24.55) in the 800, and freshman Kim Wernerspach was second to Fitzgerald in the 1500 (4:56.63).

Fitzgerald, who ran a 20-second PR to lower her school record in the steeplechase last week at Millersville, ran a personal best and the 10th-best time in school history in the 1500. Lowry had a nine-second PR in the steeplechase to improve her No. 4 time in ESU's record book, and freshman Kelsy Rushing finished fourth and ran the No. 10 time in 12:11.95.

In the hurdles, Williams was followed by senior Brittany Knowles (2nd – 15.84) and junior Adrienne Dieter (4th – 16.79) in the 100 and Dieter was third in the 400 in 1:08.49.

Senior Danielle Laws placed third in both the hammer (season-best 158-6) and discus (116-6) to lead the women's throwers, and senior Caitlin Keen was 10th in the hammer (134-6) with the No. 9 mark in school history.

ESU's men, who won eight of the 18 individual events, produced a number of impressive performances aside from their winning marks.

The Warriors had a finisher in the top three in all nine events on the track. Sophomore Mike Saparito was second (1:57.26) and senior Mahmoud Aldeen was third (1:57.75) in the 800, sophomore Amr Aldeen was third (4:04.14) in the 1500, sophomore Cory Young was second (15.15) in the 110 hurdles, freshman Christopher Walker placed second (55.58) in the 400 hurdles, and sophomore Mike Pereira (2nd – 9:44.65) and Jared Wilson (3rd – 9:52.14) were in the top three in the 3000 steeplechase.

Sophomore Kyle Soden tied for second in the high jump (6-2 1/4) along with his fifth-place finish in the 110 hurdles (15.53). Freshman Nate Horn and Hillman had a pair of top-10 finishes in the long jump and triple jump, and Hillman hit a season-best in the triple jump and Kresge tied his season-best in the long jump.

Paul Wagner, a 2010 ESU graduate and two-time All-American in the hammer, won with a mark of 207-2 while competing unattached. Ja'Mar Watson of RPI was the top collegiate finisher at 178-6.

ESU will send a contingent of athletes to the Penn Relays, which begin on Thursday in Philadelphia at historic Franklin Field. The Warriors will also compete at Lehigh next Saturday.
