Men’s Track Wraps Up Day 2 at Bucknell Invitational with New Qualifying Marks

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team closed out Day 2 of the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Invitational by adding multiple conference qualifiers and NCAA provisional performances.

PSAC Automatic Qualifiers

Aaron Sanchez (high jump) and Tyler Boone (400 meters) each recorded PSAC automatic qualifying marks.

Running Highlights

The 4x100-meter relay team of Nasir Heard, Miguel Charlery, Ragiariki Lewis and Bryson Gilchrist placed sixth overall with a time of 41.80.

Benjamin Terry made his season debut in the 100 meters, clocking 11.37.

Liam Beifus ran a lifetime-best 54.59 in the 400-meter hurdles.

In the 110-meter hurdles, Lewis continued his consistent form with a time of 14.79 to place ninth. Colin Manley ran a collegiate-best 15.54, and Beifus added a time of 15.40.

Charlery impressed in the 200 meters with a time of 21.78, followed by Gilchrist (22.12) and Zandray Thompson, who ran a personal-best 22.13.

In the 400 meters, Boone opened his outdoor season with a PSAC qualifying mark of 48.60 to place seventh overall. Mark Jackson (49.39) and Jaden Collins (49.86) also dipped under the 50-second mark once again this season.

Field Highlights

Anthony Voto placed seventh in the hammer throw with an NCAA provisional mark of 58.64 meters (192-5), improving his standing as the third-best performer in school history.

Heard finished among the top eight in the triple jump with a leap of 14.05 meters (46-1¼).

In the invitational high jump, Sanchez made his season debut by clearing 1.98 meters (6-6) to tie for fourth place. Peter Stanislavsky also cleared 1.98 meters, tying for sixth.
