Biography

2025 Season Highlights: Jackson delivered a high-caliber campaign for East Stroudsburg University’s sprint squad in 2025. Specializing in the 400m dash and 4x400m relay, Jackson combined tactical speed with fierce closing power — performing at a top-tier level across all stages of the season.

Outdoors, Mark dropped his season-best 400m time of 48.28 at the PSAC Outdoor Championships, placing 4th overall after qualifying with 48.57 in prelims. He also helped anchor ESU’s 4x400 squad to 3rd place at PSACs, following up their season-best relay performance of 3:13.43 at Penn Relays, one of the fastest in program history. Jackson picked up additional wins and podiums, including a 1st-place 49.18 finish at Shippensburg, 2nd at Monmouth (48.67), and 5th at Delaware (49.40), where he also led the relay to 1st place in 3:17.79.

Indoors, Jackson’s speed stayed red-hot. He posted a 3rd-place 400m finish at SPIRE (49.15) and a strong leg in the 4x400 at PSU Sykes & Sabock Challenge, helping the team finish 3rd in 3:20.45. He added depth with sprint performances in the 200m (22.40–22.58) and made noise in the 500m at West Point, finishing 2nd in 1:06.43.

Throughout 2025, Jackson was a cornerstone for ESU’s sprint and relay success — competitive in every lane, consistent under pressure, and a reliable source of speed and poise when it mattered most.
