WEST CHESTER, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team wrapped up the regular season on Friday at the West Chester Tune-Up with a series of strong performances on the track and in the field.
PSAC Automatic Qualifier
Ryan Ditty (400 meters) earned a PSAC automatic qualifying mark.
Running Highlights
In the 100 meters, Zandray Thompson clocked 11.23 to finish among the top eight.
Ditty recorded a PSAC-qualifying time of 48.62 in the 400 meters, a mark that is expected to rank inside the top 10 in the PSAC pending final weekend results. Zephyr Crestwell placed fourth overall in the event.
Tim Gale placed second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:58.77. Lucas Thaler also finished in the top eight.
Thaler returned to take second place in the 1,500 meters with a personal-best time of 4:07.19. Liam Hansberry followed with a collegiate-best 4:21.15.
In the 110-meter hurdles, Ragiariki Lewis continued his dominant season with another win, finishing in 15.25.
Lewis returned to take second place in the 400-meter hurdles, running 56.18. Colin Manley placed fifth in 1:01.93.
Field Highlights
Jaden Johnson won the high jump with a season-best clearance of 1.90 meters (6-2¾).
In the discus, Jacob Carney placed sixth with a throw of 39.29 meters (128-11), and Jalen Gaymon followed in seventh with a mark of 37.55 meters (123-2).
Gaymon also placed among the top five in the shot put with a throw of 14.98 meters (49-1¾).
