2025 Season Highlights: In a season packed with multi-event grit and steady improvement,
Jalen emerged as one of East Stroudsburg’s most reliable and versatile throwers, competing in
five different events across the indoor and outdoor campaigns. His sharpest showing came at the
Delaware Invitational, where he fired off a career-best
15.43m (50' 7.5") in the shot put — good for
4th place — highlighting his upward trajectory.
Throughout spring, Jalen was a force in the circle at meets like the Carol & John Covert Classic (15.23m, 3rd SP) and WCU Last Chance (14.98m, 5th SP). He delivered a solid all-around performance at the All-American Invitational, where he placed top-6 in shot put, discus, hammer, and javelin, underscoring his depth and readiness to contribute across the board.
Indoors, Jalen made his mark at the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games, reaching 15.08m in the shot put and 13.78m in the weight throw — both season bests — and continued to be a scorer at PSAC-level meets, including an 11th-place finish in indoor shot put.
From early January through the championship rounds in May, Jalen maintained a busy and productive competition schedule, proving himself a vital cog in ESU’s throws program. Whether launching the hammer or fighting for points in the shot, he delivered consistency, effort, and quiet leadership meet after meet.
