2024–25 Highlights: Carney delivered a solid campaign marked by competitive finishes and measured performances across middle-distance events. He earned a 6th-place finish in the 4x800 relay at the Gulden Invitational, helping his squad to one of its stronger relay outings during the indoor season.

Outdoors, Carney held his own in deep fields, racing to a 7th-place finish in the 5000m at the Danny Curran Invite, posting a notable time of 14:45.26 — his fastest effort of the season in that event and one of the top marks for East Stroudsburg in distance competition.
