2024 Season Highlights: Setter Taylor Haan was a dynamic force for the Warriors in 2024, earning Second Team All-PSAC East honors for her outstanding all-around play. She totaled 927 assists, 226 digs, 62 kills, 51 service aces, and 50 total points over 94 sets, ranking among the team leaders in multiple statistical categories.
Haan dished out a career-high 48 assists at Queens (Sept. 13) and matched that mark again at Shepherd (Nov. 1), showcasing her consistency as a floor general. She notched a personal-best 7 aces vs. Lock Haven (Oct. 12) and recorded 20 digs in a five-set battle at Shepherd, one of 11 matches where she posted double-digit digs.
She also delivered 9.5 points and 6 kills at Millersville (Oct. 19)—her top scoring match of the season—and contributed in all phases with 4 total blocks vs. Gannon (Nov. 22). Haan’s blend of defensive grit, smart decision-making, and serving pressure made her an integral leader during the Warriors’ 2024 run.
Junior (2023) (Season Stats): All-PSAC East First Team ... two-time PSAC East Athlete of the Week (9/18, 10/2) ... PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week (11/13) ... played in 27 matches, making 26 starts ... notched a team-high 911 assists and 52 aces, 247 digs, 79 kills, 47 blocks ... recorded 11 double-doubles, including in the final four matches ... posted a career-high 52 assists at New Haven (9/23), six aces vs. Saint Rose (9/16) and four blocks at Millersville (9/29) and vs. Gannon (11/17) ... among PSAC rankings she was second in aces per set (0.55), fourth in assists per set (9.69), fourth in total aces and fifth in total assists ... ranked 17th in NCAA Division II for aces and 48th in aces per set.
Sophomore (2022) (Season Stats): Played in 21 matches, making 17 starts ...
recorded 64 kills, 150 digs, 275 assists, 29 aces and 25 blocks across 74 sets ... notched a double-double with a career-high 43 assists and 12 digs vs. Bloomsburg (11/4) ... served up a career-high six aces against Kutztown (9/16) ... posted double-digit digs over the Warriors' final seven matches.
Freshman (2021) (Season Stats): Played in 19 sets and six matches in her first season as a Warrior ... registered 29 kills, 35 digs, 19 assists, six blocks ... registered season-highs with 10 kills (.258%), 19 digs and three blocks at USciences (10/12) ... added eights kills and eight digs at Millersville (10/12).
Background: A two-time All-Region First Team selection … helped Sunnyslope High School to a state championship in 2019 and a third place finish in 2020 … majoring in speech and communication disorders.
