Warriors Take Over Delaware Invitational, Record Five NCAA Provisional Marks

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The East Stroudsburg University men's track and field team dominated at the Delaware Invitational, posting five NCAA provisional marks and several standout performances.

PSAC Automatic Qualifiers

Jaden Collins (400 meters), Jayden Johnson (400 meters), Bryson Gilchrist (100 meters), and Peter Stanislavsky (long jump) each hit PSAC automatic qualifying standards.

NCAA Provisional Marks

Anthony Voto (hammer throw), Chris Fredericks (javelin throw), Peter Stanislavsky (high jump), and Drew Domurat (high jump) all recorded NCAA provisional marks.

Running Highlights

In the 1,500 meters, Lucas Thaler (4:09.62) and Evan Wooby (4:10.38) placed second and third, respectively. Joe Walker finished sixth at 4:11.97.

Ragiariki Lewis won the 110-meter hurdles in a personal-best 14.57, the sixth fastest time in school history. Colin Manley also set a personal best, running 15.66 to finish in the top 10.

Freshman Jaden Collins clocked a conference-qualifying 48.97 in the 400 meters, placing second overall. Fellow freshman Jayden Johnson (49.38) hit a collegiate-best and PSAC qualifying time for fourth place. Mark Jackson followed in fifth at 49.40.

In the 100 meters, Gilchrist placed fifth with a qualifying time of 10.75. Miguel Charlery was sixth at 10.82. Zandray Thompson (11.05) and Nasir Heard (11.19) each set personal records.

Tim Gale led the Warriors in the 800 meters with a season-best 1:58.86, placing fourth. Thaler took seventh at 1:59.06. Walker (2:01.99) and Andrew Dowdell (2:02.75) finished in the top half.

Liam Beifus added a win in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.19.

Jaylen Morrison clocked 22.78 in the 200 meters for the Warriors.

Relays

To open the meet, the 4x100-meter relay team of Evan Clark, Charlery, Gilchrist and Lewis set a meet record, winning in 42.47.

The 4x400-meter relay team also set a meet record with a winning time of 3:17.79.

Field Highlights

Voto set a meet record in the hammer throw, winning with an NCAA provisional mark of 57.81m (189-7¾). Gaymon recorded a collegiate best of 41.55m (136-3¾).

Fredericks won the javelin with a provisional throw of 63.97m (209-10½), while Luke Stevenosky placed second at 58.77m (192-9¾).

Stanislavsky earned his first career win in the long jump with a qualifying mark of 6.96m (22-10).

His day continued with a meet record and NCAA provisional mark of 2.10m (6-10¾) in the high jump. The jump set the ESU freshman record, puts him into a three-way tie for the school record, and is the conference leading mark.

Domurat placed third in the high jump with a provisional mark of 2.05m (6-8½), putting him behind only Stanislavksy on the conference leader board.

In the triple jump, Heard placed second at 13.96m (45-9½), Jack Gorham was third at 13.95m (45-9), and Johnson took fourth at 13.79m (45-2¾).

Cole Gorham won the shot put with a provisional mark of 17.26m (56-7½). Voto was third with a season-best 16.27m (53-4½), and Gaymon was fourth with a personal best of 15.43m (50-7¼).

In the pole vault, Taylor Labarre set a meet record by clearing 4.70m (15-5). Chris Costa took second with a season-best 4.55m (14-11).

Gorham added another win with a provisional mark in the discus of 52.22m (171-3¾).
