Gained berth in NCAA Division I tournament quarter-finals. Team took undefeated 12-0 record into the national tourney. Squad trounced Franklin and Marshall, 6-0 as David Rittenhouse scored three goals and John Petronis posted a shutout, but then lost to Michigan State, 4-0. Team finished eighth in the nation. Coaching legend John Eiler was the head coach.
