Outstanding blocker and running back. He was the starting fullback on two straight PSAC championship teams in 1975 and 1976. He took over at tailback and rushed for 114.1 yards per game fifth in the nation, and a school record-tying 15 touchdowns in 1977. He made the All-PSAC team three times, once in football and twice in baseball. He was named the Senior Male Athlete of the Year in 1978.
