East Stroudsburg University Athletics

First ESU team in any sport to make an NCAA Final Four, finishing with an 18-3-2 record and No. 3 national ranking.  Won 4th straight PSAC championship and 8th in 9 years, beating California 2-0 in championship game.  Advanced at Dowling (1-1 - 3-2 on penalty kicks) in NCAA first round and beat New Hampshire College 4-2 in quarterfinals before falling 2-1 at Barry.  Coached by 1999 Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Sheska.
