School's first swimming All-America. She finished third in the 50-yard butterfly at the AIAW National Championships in 1970. She was seventh in the 100-yard butterfly. She placed in the top 12 in the freestyle at the 1971 nationals. She was voted the team's outstanding swimmer in 1970.
