Captain of a 20-win team. Richter played guard and was captain of the 1970-71 team which went 20-4. He was named the captain and MVP of the 1969-70 ESU squad and was voted first-team All-PSAC following his senior season. He has coached DeSales University's women's basketball team to five conference titles and six trips to the NCAA Tournament, including a birth in the "Sweet Sixteen" in 2008, during his 18 seasons as head coach.
