East Stroudsburg University Athletics

Gained the school's first berth in the AIAW national championship which included colleges from all divisions. The Betty Lou Murphy-coached team beat Marshall in the first round before losing to Mississippi College in the quarterfinals. The team finished with a 13-3 record, which tied the school victory record.
