Coach and teacher for 39 years. He coached the soccer team for 26 years to a record of 108-56-29. He had four undefeated seasons and produced 14 All-America players. He was one of the founders of the National Soccer Coaches' Association and served as the group's third vice president. He also coached the track and field team for 27 years.
